The great thing about the beginning of the month, we can start all over again. Or as Heidi Swapp puts it, it's a fresh start. I am going to just be honest and say that last month has just been an epic fail when it comes to all the plans that I set up for myself. The thing is, it's ok. I know I'm not perfect, no one is. I like to think of myself as 'perfectly imperfect'. In the book 'She's Still There', author Chrystal Evans Hurst states 'We can be both a masterpiece and a work in progress'. I like that. I just got started reading that book and in just the first chapter Chrystal encourages me so much by sharing her most vulnerable moments that only served to make her stronger. So do not focus on what didn't happen, or that fast food you ate, or those pounds you gained. Take a step back and purge your closet, your pantry, add blank pages to your planners and journals. March 1st is a new day, new chances. You've got this.
