This coming January 5th I will be presenting a four part series on finding your sacred space, whether it be a prayer closet, a small table for study and prayer, an altar for a spiritual practice of your own choosing, we will explore all aspects. Whether you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Pagan or Wiccan, we all desire a sacred space of our own to devote to prayer, meditation, and study. Some of us are surrounded by large families that make our quiet time, well, non-existent. Some of us are living in close quarters where time for reflection is scarce. Sometimes it's a little bit of both. In the Biblical days of Rachel and Leah women held court in a tent during the time of their periods. It was a sacred space for them to bond as women and to teach the younger women the stories of womanhood......so ladies, grab a notepad because you're gonna wanna take notes. Each installment will be on a Friday as to reflect the coming weekend and there will also be a preceding 'list' to go out in preparation for the article. I will be setting up a place where you can sign up for the newsletter, this is all new territory for me, so please be patient.
